What do you mean you don't save my screen?

While it was a custom in the past to save a screen for future re-orders and some people still do it, it is a process that is no longer economically viable. Screen cost money, storing screens cost money, the space used to store screens quickly becomes huge and now you would have to pay someone to go and catalogue as well as retrieve screens. The industry is going in a new direction with automatic reclaiming systems as well as computer direct to screen technology. Technology has allowed us to get to a point where we do not have to "Save" a screen in order to consistantly reproduce an image. And no, it doesn't save you any money in the long run. From a screen printers point of view, it costs more money to store the screen that to constantly re-use a screen.
